i've knocked it on the head  for now.  it's just too old fashioned.  It's really well featured but too familiar in terms of the gameplay.

I've been playing astroempires for over 2 yrs now. Pretty addictive Currently rebuilding after a big battle between the 2 main alliances on Ceti.

That's what i'm worried about.  But when you think about it, don't you just hate having to look at a bloody skillbar every 2 seconds?  i'd rather look at the action on screen, not a selection of coloured tiles.

GW1 was far enough away from typical MMO styles. TERA looks to be an interesting one as well, I hope I get into the Beta.

GW2 is looking quite a fair change from any existing MMO.

June 30 is the latest rumoured date.  I mean if the open beta is in march then it cant be too long after that.

Really? Wow. I figured we'd be looking at August/September-time. June would be good.

If the beta does hit in March, it would make a lot of sense. It'd basically roll into launch similar to GW1's timescale.

NCsoft confirm Guild Wars 2 for consoles: in preparation stage.

No, there's loads of free ones.  Look at the list on the thread, and there's even more than  that.  Of course, most are absolute shite, but you can find the odd gem if you dig in the dirt.  I assume it's for the current set of consoles but a console version wouldn't be out for a while, we'll see.  It would be interesting to see how it would work with a gamepad, or even if the PC version will support gamepads.

Interesting...Though very, very difficult to pull off effectively IF the two are cross-platform.
