MAV

They're sole purpose is for reconnaissance and to take part in a support role (Recon's Equipment) but people can also die from being rammed with a MAV (Roadkill). Also as already pointed out, they are used as lifting devices to access rooftops and areas unaccessable by foot.

SOFLAM is my preference though, as long as their are tanks with the CITV station or someone running a Javelin rocket.

SOFLAM is very beneficial on vehicle-dominated maps, and even ones that simply get hassle from them (such as Tehran Highway). As an Engineer, I approve. Obviously a well-placed MAV or TUGS is better on infantry maps, but then infantry maps are shit.

The SOFLAM should definitely reap more points though. It's pathetic that you only get 10 points for the spot. There should be a laser designation assist that gives perhaps 50% of the points of a vehicle destruction/disable.

This is a little highlight from the BF3 4 vs 4 league between BaT & TKO, TKO won the first two matches and this is the third.

I know they took it easy but surely we're a million times better? I'm sure i saw a rank 11 in the vid. (Has no bearing on players ability but greatly on unlocks)

Would be good to get a full 12 vs 12.

Likeyhood is that would be impossible to get 12 on everyweek at the same time.

8 vs 8 maybe, 4 vs 4 = Awesome squad 

Be good to have a try or get a game of squad rush, just to see how it handles.
